Nathaniel and Jessica, Week 5

Lithos, woodcuts + planning = OH MY!

We're getting so close! This week, Jessica laid down the first layer of a three-plate lithograph. This will go over a video Nathaniel shot on a train in Montreal last July (while there working with The Sense Lab). We also went and editioned a woodcut that'll go over a video from camping grounds outside Montreal during that same trip. And finally, we had a Skype meeting while just down the road from each other. Here, we began planning some high-tech sculpture 'printing' with wood. We'll either be using a router or laser cutter to carve the wood, plotted with digital images from our videos. These will be part of a video triptych, as well as available individually, if all goes as planned. Regardless, the Skype meeting wound up producing, if nothing else, some funny photos. More soon!

Litho layer 1. No title yet. Train? Stutter? Maybe Dynamic Stasis, like the show. Feel free to email ideas if you have them.
